New Whistleblower Protection Bill Dies In Senate

Law360, New York (December 23, 2010, 2:10 PM EST) -- Legislation that would have extended legal protections for federal employees who blow the whistle on fraud or misconduct is dead after an amended version of the bill stripping protections for intelligence and contract workers was blocked from a final vote in the U.S. Senate before it adjourned for the year.
