Union Claims Albertsons Bullied Workers

Law360 (March 30, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A grocery workers union has accused the Albertsons supermarket chain of trying to intimidate union workers prior to a strike authorization vote in a claim filed with the National Labor Relations Board.

The United Food and Commercial Workers union in Southern California has filed a complaint with the NLRB, alleging that Albertsons broke federal labor law just days before a vote by workers last month that cleared the way for union leaders to authorize a strike.
