Dover To Acquire Oil Pump Maker For $402.5M

Law360, New York (January 3, 2011, 2:18 PM EST) -- Dover Corp. on Monday announced plans to snap up oil pump manufacturer Harbison-Fischer Inc. for $402.5 million, a deal that would help expand its business in the international oil and gas sectors.

The Downers Grove, Ill.-based industrial firm said that Harbison-Fischer would become part of Norris Production Solutions, an operating subsidiary within Dover’s fluid management segment, boosting its line of integrated products across the artificial lift spectrum for oil and gas production.
