Mexican Copper Cos. Ask NAFTA To Review US Duties

Law360, New York (January 4, 2011, 5:34 PM EST) -- Three Mexican copper producers and their American affiliates have asked a North American Free Trade Association panel to review anti-dumping duties on copper pipes and tubes from China and Mexico.

IUSA SA de CV and Nacional de Cobre SA de CV — along with their respective U.S. affiliates, Cambridge-Lee Industries LLC and Copper and Brass International Corp. — asked NAFTA in late December to scrutinize U.S.-imposed copper duties, the U.S. International Trade Commission said in an entry in Thursday's Federal Register.
