AT&T, USSIC End $10M Coverage Dispute

Law360, New York (January 4, 2011, 3:09 PM EST) -- AT&T Corp. has agreed to end a $10 million legal fight with U.S. Specialty Insurance Co. over a 2005 settlement the telecommunications giant claimed the insurer should partially cover.

Judge Garrett E. Brown Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey dismissed the case on Dec. 30, 2010, saying the case had been settled. His one-page order did not indicate the terms of the settlement, and attorneys for the parties did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
