Sprint Sued Over Audio System In BlackBerrys

Law360 (January 6, 2011, 4:16 PM EST) -- Sprint Nextel Corp. has been accused by 2-Way Computing Inc. of stealing patented technology that allows users to talk on the phone while using software applications in certain BlackBerry and Motorola Inc. cell phones.

Nevada-based 2-Way lodged its complaint Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada, claiming that Sprint and its affiliate Sprint Solutions Inc. have infringed one or more claims of its U.S. Patent Number 5,434,797, called "Audio communication system for a computer network."
