Chinese Steel Pipe Co. Takes Duties To CIT

Law360, New York (January 6, 2011, 6:05 PM EST) -- A Chinese steel pipe producer is fighting the U.S. Department of Commerce’s final determination in an anti-dumping probe into seamless steel pipes imported from China, taking issue with the department's methodology.

In a complaint filed Wednesday in the U.S. Court of International Trade, steel pipe producer Tianjin Pipe Corp. and exporter Tianjin Pipe International Economic & Trading Corp. contend that substantial evidence on the record does not support the anti-dumping duty determination for certain seamless carbon and alloy steel standard, line and pressure pipe.
