Hedge Fund Takes Dealbreaker To Task Over Post

Law360, New York (April 3, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A hedge fund founded by one of the traders embroiled in the collapse of Amaranth Advisers has sued a financial gossip blog for allegedly posting a copy of the company’s investor prospectus without its consent.

On Monday, Solengo Capital Advisers ULC filed suit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, accusing Dealbreaker.com of committing copyright infringement by putting up the fund’s “confidential” document on its Web site.
