Obama Picks National Policy Vet To Head OMB

Law360, New York (January 10, 2011, 12:53 PM EST) -- In his ongoing shake-up of White House staff, President Barack Obama has nominated one of his national policy advisers to become deputy director of the Office of Management and Budget.

Obama on Friday tapped Heather Higginbottom, who has served as served as deputy director of the Domestic Policy Council for more than two years, to help lead the powerful office that creates the president’s annual budget.
