Acqis Wants IBM Sanctioned In Server Patent Case

Law360, New York (January 12, 2011, 2:50 PM EST) -- Patent-holding company Acqis LLC has asked a federal judge to find IBM Corp. in contempt of court for allegedly using confidential documents to gain a tactical advantage in a suit over blade server patents.

IBM let its experts use documents covered by a protective order to help fashion a defense, Acqis said Monday in a motion for sanctions filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
