Chinese, Indonesian Cos. Fight US Paper Duties

Law360 (January 12, 2011, 1:44 PM EST) -- Chinese and Indonesian producers of coated paper suitable for high-quality print graphics are challenging a U.S. International Trade Commission ruling that led to countervailing and anti-dumping duties on the companies' products.

The suit, filed Tuesday by China's Gold East Paper (Jiangsu) Co. Ltd. and Indonesia's PT Pindo Deli Pulp and Paper Mills, among other plaintiffs, in the U.S. Court of International Trade, seeks a ruling that the ITC's injury determination from November was unlawful and must be revised.
