TriMed Resolves Stryker Suit Over Wrist Repair IP

Law360, New York (January 11, 2011, 7:46 PM EST) -- TriMed Inc. has reached a deal with Stryker Corp. that resolves a four-year infringement dispute between the parties over TriMed’s patent covering an implantable wrist fracture fixation device.

The Valencia, Calif.-based orthopedic parts maker said Tuesday that it agreed to license the patent for so-called pin plate technology to Stryker, bringing an end to its suit filed in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
