7th Circ. Upholds H&R Block Win In Wage Action

Law360, New York (January 12, 2011, 4:20 PM EST) -- The Seventh Circuit has upheld a judgment in favor of H&R Block Eastern Enterprises Inc. in a putative class action accusing the company of violating Indiana's wage laws by failing to pay its workers in a timely fashion.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit on Wednesday affirmed a lower court's decision that H&R Block had not violated Indiana law by doling out end of season compensation more than ten days after it was earned.
