Final Claim In Refco Ch. 7 Bankruptcy Dismissed

Law360, New York (January 18, 2011, 7:27 PM EST) -- A federal judge has dismissed the last remaining claim in Refco LLC's Chapter 7 bankruptcy, ending the claims adjustment process and bringing the proceedings for the defunct financial services company unit close to an end.

Judge Robert D. Drain issued the order Friday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, approving Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee Albert Togut's application to expunge the claim of brokerage firm Fimat International Banque SA.
