Judge Delays Centaur Ch. 11 Hearing Over Discovery

Law360 (January 18, 2011, 7:37 PM EST) -- A bankruptcy judge on Tuesday pushed back Centaur LLC’s Chapter 11 plan confirmation hearing to allow second lien agent Wells Fargo Bank NA to obtain additional discovery related to the plan’s core settlement.

Attorneys for Wells Fargo argued at a hearing in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware that it was “highly prejudiced” by the minimal discovery provided into the settlement, resolving some $99 million in claims brought by the unsecured creditors committee challenging liens asserted by senior lender Credit Suisse AG....
