Nearing Trial, Lancer Insider Seeks Settlement Info

Law360, New York (January 19, 2011, 7:00 PM EST) -- Less than two weeks from trial for his role in an alleged $200 million securities scam, a former Lancer Group manager has asked a court to turn over settlement agreements between co-defendants, witnesses and a court-appointed receiver.

In motions filed Tuesday, Martin Garvey asked the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida to give him copies of agreements brokered between co-defendants Eric Hauser and Milton Barbarosh, at least five government witnesses and receiver Hunton & Williams LLP.
