Judge In Ice Antitrust MDL Berates Jones Day, Dykema

Law360, New York (January 21, 2011, 7:34 PM EST) -- The federal judge overseeing the packaged ice antitrust multidistrict litigation threatened to slap Jones Day and Dykema Gossett PLLC with sanctions Friday over their "frivolous" motion for clarification of an attendance order.

There is "no mystery" to the judge's Jan. 10 order requiring the attorneys' presence at a Feb. 2 hearing, and the attorneys' motion to clarify the Jan. 10 order could warrant sanctions, Judge Paul D. Borman of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan said.
