Napa, Duracell Hit With Battery Charger IP Suit

Law360, New York (January 24, 2011, 2:47 PM EST) -- TS Media Tech LLC has accused Napa Auto Parts, Duracell, Stanley Black & Decker Inc. and a handful of other companies of infringing a patent related to vehicle battery testers and chargers.

The lawsuit was filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, alleging the companies infringed a patent titled “Integrated battery service system.” The patent was issued in August 2006 and assigned to TS Media on Jan. 17.
