Zurich Wants Claremont To Cover Glass Co.'s Defense

Law360, New York (January 28, 2011, 6:23 PM EST) -- Zurich American Insurance Co. has accused Claremont Liability Insurance Co. of failing to pay its share of the defense and indemnification of a California glass company in a slew of suits over alleged construction defects.

Zurich filed an amended complaint on Wednesday, asking the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California to declare that Claremont must cough up funds to defend and indemnify San Diego Mirror & Window in a dozen lawsuits stemming from allegedly poor construction work.
