Oak Ridge Lab Construction Costs Spat Expands

Law360 (January 28, 2011, 7:01 PM EST) -- A construction venture being sued, along with its insurers, over a $500 million construction contract at a Tennessee laboratory has sued the U.S. Department of Energy’s general contractor on the project for allegedly misleading it about the project’s complexity and cost.

Plaintiff Caddell/Blaine Joint Venture filed a third-party complaint against contractor Babcock & Wilcox Technical Services Y-12 LLC in a case in which Caddell/Blaine is itself being sued by unpaid subcontractors in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.
