Del. Sues For $20M Over Shoddy Bridge Work

Law360, New York (January 28, 2011, 6:55 PM EST) -- The Delaware Department of Transportation lodged a complaint Friday seeking more than $19.6 million in damages from two contractors hired to build a replacement bridge in the state.

The suit, filed in the Superior Court of Delaware, Sussex County, claims that MacTec Engineering and Consulting Inc. made numerous geotechnical errors in connection with the Indian River Inlet Bridge replacement project in southeastern Delaware.
