Trustmark, Hancock Must Resume Arbitration: 7th Circ.

Law360, New York (January 31, 2011, 6:38 PM EST) -- Trustmark Insurance Co. and John Hancock Life Insurance Co. will resume arbitration in a long-running insurance dispute following a federal appeals court ruling Monday that Hancock's arbitrator is not conflicted out.

The arbitration, now in its second round, should go forward despite Trustmark's objection to Hancock's choice of arbitrator, a three-judge panel of the the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit said.
