Federal Agency Overhaul To Begin With Trade, Exports

Law360, New York (February 1, 2011, 2:59 PM EST) -- Led by first-ever U.S. Chief Performance Officer Jeffrey Zients, the White House is launching its comprehensive organizational overhaul of federal agencies, focusing first on the more than a dozen separate offices responsible for trade and exports.


The White House made the announcement in a blog post Sunday, kicking off the wide-ranging reorganization and streamlining of federal operations first announced by President Barack Obama in the Jan. 25 State of the Union address.
