Acrow Loses Bid To Halt Mabey Army Contract

Law360 (February 2, 2011, 5:56 PM EST) -- Acrow Corp. of America's attempt to stop a U.S. Army contract awarded to Mabey Bridge & Shore Inc. has been derailed, after its rival convinced a judge that bribery charges involving one of its affiliates were adequately considered during bidding.

While Acrow has suffered “irreparable harm” in losing its bid for a bridge system to transport U.S. Army ground forces across dry and wet gaps, the public interest would not be served by granting an injunction pending its appeal of an earlier ruling denying its motion...
