Dorsey & Whitney Pays For Bungled Casino Deal

Law360, New York (April 10, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has ordered Dorsey & Whitney LLP to shell out $887,000 to resolve a bankruptcy dispute over a failed finance deal for an Indian casino construction project in New York.

Judge Donovan Frank determined Friday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota that the law firm should disgorge fees and expenses for its role in St. Regis Mohawk Tribe’s casino project.
