DLA Piper Takes On Green Energy Co. Over Unpaid Bills

Law360, New York (February 4, 2011, 2:23 PM EST) -- The Middle East wing of DLA Piper has filed a breach of contract suit in a U.S. court against its client, Green Energy Concepts Inc., claiming the Georgia-based company has refused to pay nearly $210,000 in legal fees.

Green Energy hired DLA Piper in October 2009 to provide legal advice for a green energy project in the United Arab Emirates, but hasn't paid the firm for its work, according to the suit, filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia....
