China OK'd To Join US Paper Duties Fight

Law360, New York (February 4, 2011, 4:42 PM EST) -- A federal judge has granted the Chinese government’s request to intervene in a suit challenging countervailing and anti-dumping duties placed on coated paper produced by Chinese and Indonesian companies.

In an order Friday, Judge Evan J. Wallach of the U.S. Court of International Trade added China’s Bureau of Fair Trade for Imports & Exports as a plaintiff to the suit brought by Chinese company Gold East Paper Co. Ltd., Indonesian company Ningbo Zhonghua Paper Co. Ltd. and U.S. importer Global Paper Solutions.
