Goodyear Hit With OT Collective Action

Law360, New York (February 8, 2011, 12:36 PM EST) -- Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has been slapped with a putative collective action accusing the company of misclassifying its service managers as exempt from overtime compensation requirements.

Former service manager David Monahan filed a complaint Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, claiming that Ohio-based Goodyear fails to pay its workers overtime in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
