Fed. Circ. Hears Cies Bisker Floor Ad Patent Case

Law360 (February 7, 2011, 7:55 PM EST) -- Cies Bisker LLC tried to convince an appeals court Monday to overturn an unfavorable claim construction finding in its patent infringement suit against 3M Co., News Corp. and others over advertisements in floor tiles.

A three-judge panel in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit heard oral arguments over whether the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas correctly ruled that ink printing was disavowed as to the scope of certain patent terms.
