9th Circ. Shuts Down Sequus Medical Licensing Spat

Law360, New York (February 7, 2011, 7:03 PM EST) -- The Ninth Circuit on Monday upheld the dismissal of Infuturia Global Ltd.'s contract suit against Sequus Pharmaceuticals Inc. over licenses to use medical technology belonging to an Israeli pharmaceutical research company.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit rejected Infuturia's claim that the district court never had authority to hear the case, originally brought in California state court, in the first place.
