6th Circ. Fast-Tracks Health Care Reform Fight

Law360, New York (February 9, 2011, 12:20 PM EST) -- The Sixth Circuit has agreed to speed up the appeal of a ruling that declared a controversial provision of the recently passed health care reform bill constitutional.

Granting an unopposed motion to expedite an appeal filed by the Thomas Moore Law Center, which is challenging the constitutionality of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit said Tuesday that it would hear oral arguments on the matter between May 30 and June 10.
