Judge Dismisses Hi-Tech's Army Bed Bid Protest

Law360, New York (February 9, 2011, 4:23 PM EST) -- A federal judge has dismissed a bid protest by Hi-Tech Bed Systems Corp., which alleged that beds sold by two of its competitors to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers did not meet specifications.

Judge Lawrence M. Baskir of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims issued the ruling Tuesday, handing a victory to KLN Steel Products Co. LLC and Dehler Manufacturing Co. Inc. Another similar case filed by Hi-Tech in the same court had been stayed pending Judge Baskir's decision.
