FedEx Hit With $3M Jury Award In Harassment Case

Law360, New York (April 12, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- As news broke Wednesday that FedEx would pay more than $50 million to settle a racial discrimination suit, a jury found that a former employee had been sexually harassed and said the company should pay about $3 million in damages.

A jury in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California found against FedEx Corp., saying former employee Charlotte Boswell had been sexually harassed by supervisor Norman Stites, and had been subjected to a sexually hostile work environment.
