Riceland Won't Have To Pay Into Tainted Rice Fund

Law360, New York (February 11, 2011, 6:21 PM EST) -- Riceland Foods Inc. doesn't have to contribute part of state court recovery to a federal common benefit trust fund related to a multidistrict litigation over Bayer AG's genetically modified rice that allegedly contaminated the food supply, a federal judge ruled Friday.
