9th Circ. To Rehear Grocery Co. Profit-Sharing Fight

Law360 (February 11, 2011, 7:50 PM EST) -- The Ninth Circuit agreed Friday to take another look at its ruling in favor of California in a suit alleging an agreement among a Safeway Inc. subsidiary and other supermarket chains to share profits during an expected labor dispute was illegal.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit issued an order granting a petition for an en banc rehearing from Vons Cos. Inc., Albertsons Inc., Ralphs Grocery Co. and others.
