Judge Keeps Jones Day, Dykema In Packaged Ice MDL

Law360, New York (February 11, 2011, 7:54 PM EST) -- A federal judge overseeing a multidistrict litigation over antitrust claims in the packaged ice industry has denied the plaintiffs' motion to disqualify Jones Day and Dykema Gossett PLLC from the case.

Judge Paul D. Borman of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan affirmed Magistrate Judge R. Steven Whalen's December dismissal of a similar motion to toss the two firms, which are representing Arctic Glacier Inc.and three of its former executives, in an opinion and order issued on Friday.
