Fed. Circ. Upholds Revised Thai Steel Duties

Law360, New York (February 14, 2011, 4:47 PM EST) -- The Federal Circuit has turned aside challenges from domestic and foreign steel producers alike and affirmed the U.S. Court of International Trade’s judgment assigning revised duty rates for steel exporter Saha Thai Steel Pipe Public Co. Ltd.

On Monday the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit endorsed the revised 4.21 percent rates the U.S. Department of Commerce imposed on Saha in 2008, finding that regulators appropriately granted Saha a drawback adjustment and calculated the correct anti-dumping margin
