Fugitive Fund Manager Charged In $4M Ponzi Scheme

Law360, New York (February 15, 2011, 7:31 PM EST) -- A New York hedge fund manager who is on the lam for alleged grand larceny has had his assets frozen and been hit with new allegations that he perpetrated a $4 million Ponzi scheme.

A Supreme Court of the State of New York, New York County, grand jury on Tuesday indicted Brian Kim and his fund, Liquid Capital Management LLC, on violations of the Martin Act and other charges for allegedly stealing millions from at least 45 victims, prosecutors said.
