Governors Send Support For Biologic Bill

Law360, New York (April 13, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Governors from 18 states have sent a letter to Congress urging the passage of a bill that would allow a pathway for generic or follow-on biologic products to be approved.

The letter, which was mailed Wednesday, says that the governors are facing the “very real and growing challenge” of providing health care for the millions who rely on Medicaid, state pharmacy assistant programs and state employee insurance programs.
