Exec Out On Bond In Navy Contract Kickback Case

Law360, New York (February 15, 2011, 3:43 PM EST) -- The founder of technology services company Advanced Solutions for Tomorrow Inc. has been released on bond after being slapped with criminal charges for his alleged role in a $10 million kickback scheme over U.S. Navy contracts.

Magistrate Judge Lincoln D. Almond of the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island signed off on an order setting the terms of Anjan Dutta-Gupta's release on Tuesday. Dutta-Gupta was released on a $50,000 unsecured bond and must post a $10,000 secured bond by Feb. 22.
