Spirit Airlines Customer Service Reps File OT Action

Law360, New York (February 16, 2011, 1:14 PM EST) -- Customer service employees of Spirit Airlines Inc. have filed a class action claiming that the budget air carrier routinely denies them proper overtime pay.

The Miramar, Fla.-based airline has made a habit of "willful noncompliance" with the overtime provisions of the federal Fair Labor Standards Act, two employees said in a complaint filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
