Brothers Plead Guilty To Insider Trading At Sequenom

Law360, New York (February 16, 2011, 1:44 PM EST) -- A former Sequenom Inc. patent agent and his brother have become the third and fourth individuals to plead guilty to charges that they participated in an insider trading scheme involving the biotechnology company.

Aaron Scalia of San Diego, who was employed as a patent agent in Sequenom's legal department, and his brother, Stephen Scalia of Baltimore, entered their guilty pleas Tuesday before Magistrate Judge Ruben B. Brooks of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.
