CIT Tells Commerce To Review S. Korean Steel Duties

Law360 (February 16, 2011, 6:05 PM EST) -- The U.S. Court of International Trade has ordered the U.S. Department of Commerce to reconsider calculations in an anti-dumping order on corrosion-resistant carbon steel flat products from South Korea in light of challenges from domestic companies.

The CIT on Tuesday told Commerce to revisit the calculations it used to determine the dumping margins for South Korea-based Union Steel Manufacturing Co. Ltd.'s corrosion-resistant carbon steel products to ensure that the agency had adequately accounted for materials supplied by the company's affiliated suppliers.
