Ford Settles Retirement Plan Mismanagement Suit

Law360, New York (February 17, 2011, 1:56 PM EST) -- A federal judge approved a settlement agreement in a suit brought by a group of Ford Motor Co. employees who allege the automaker mismanaged their retirement plans.

The terms of the settlement were not immediately available, but Ford will pay about $1.5 million in legal fees to the plaintiffs' lead counsel, according to an order issued by Judge Stephen J. Murphy III of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan on Tuesday.
