GAO Rejects Distributed Solutions' Protest Costs Bid

Law360 (February 17, 2011, 5:59 PM EST) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has killed Distributed Solutions Inc.'s bid for reimbursement of protest costs it incurred while challenging the terms of a U.S. Department of Labor solicitation, finding that the original protest was not clearly meritorious.

In its decision published Monday, the GAO found that the acquisition technology company had actually presented a close question in its protest, rather than one with merit that was apparent from the record as required for cost reimbursement.
