Stars Among Creditors In Starr & Co. Bankruptcy

Law360, New York (February 18, 2011, 2:29 PM EST) -- The investment firm of celebrity financial adviser Kenneth Starr has filed for bankruptcy, listing allegedly defrauded actors, directors and media personalities — including Martin Scorsese, Al Pacino and Barbara Walters — among hundreds of creditors.

Starr & Co. LLC and Starr Investment Advisors LLC filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy Thursday, less than a year after Starr pled guilty to defrauding investors out of up to $50 million in a Ponzi-like scheme.
