Facebook Settles Some IP Claims With Brazilian Site

Law360, New York (February 22, 2011, 12:00 PM EST) -- Facebook Inc. has settled copyright, trademark, unfair competition and Digital Millennium Copyright Act claims against a Brazilian website accused of allowing Internet users to indirectly access Facebook through an all-in-one networking portal.

Judge James Ware signed off on Facebook and Power.com's voluntary stipulation of dismissal of the claims in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Friday.
