Exxon Unit Loses Bid To Overturn $8M Benzene Verdict

Law360, New York (February 22, 2011, 11:24 PM EST) -- Exxon Mobil Corp. subsidiary SeaRiver Maritime Inc. has lost a bid to overturn a California jury verdict awarding $8 million to a former deckhand who claimed he developed kidney cancer from exposure to benzene while working on SeaRiver's oil tankers.
