Ex-First National President Gets Four Years

Law360, New York (April 16, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge on Friday sentenced the former president of First National Bank of Bowie, Texas, to nearly four years in prison for bank fraud.

Ricky Dale Howard, 45, pled guilty to the charge in January. As part of the plea, he also agreed to pay about $4.5 million in restitution to Legend Bank, formerly First National Bank, and to St. Paul Insurance Co.
