Default Rulings Issued In Tri-Star Kickback Suit

Law360, New York (February 23, 2011, 6:25 PM EST) -- A federal judge in Florida on Tuesday signed off on default judgments against UC Hub Group Inc., Tri-Star Holdings Inc. and Tri-Star's recently sentenced president in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's suit over an alleged stock price kickback scheme.

In addition to the default judgments, Judge Joan A. Lenard of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida also approved consent judgments the SEC struck with co-defendants Zcom Networks Inc. and Zcom executive Alex Parsinia.
